This team is unreal

Coming into tonight’s game, Jose Theodore had a 3.16 GAA and an .884 save percentage and has been a FA bust for the Caps.  Of course after one period, he looks like Olaf Kolzig circa 1998 with 13 saves against a pitiful Devils offense who has 8 goals in their last 6 games, four in one game against a lousy Lightning team that just fired their coach.

And just check out these first period icetimes:

Nicklas Bergfors :20, Petr Vrana :54

Brent Sutter might as well dress himself on the fourth line if it’s going to play so little.  God knows he’d probably be better offensively than most of his team.  But why he refuses to give the kids even power play shifts on a pitiful power play is beyond me.

I listened to the 1st and it sounded like they had good chances after AO’s goal. So yeah. I can feel your frustration.

    those ice-times ugh :(
