Just Brutal

November 19, 2008   ·     ·   Jump to comments

That was about as brutal a period as the Rangers could play. They got beat to loose pucks all over the ice with the Canucks converting two breakaways with Wellwood (deke) and Burrows (stickside) each tallying with the latter victimizing our disgusting power play for a league worst seventh time.

This has to stop. Also, Redden and Rozsival were the main culprits on the two goals against. Yet there was our coach talking to Dubinsky. Why not one of the vets? Typical double standards.

The penalty on Voros was weak. He did nothing. However, if the Canucks finished, they’d be up 5-0.

I’m taking a shower. I feel dirty after watching that. Let’s see what they come up with the next two periods.

It sucks when the goalie matchup doesn’t materialize lol…like last year when we lost 5-0 to Vancouver in the big Marty-Luongo showdown, or when we were playing the Sharks and Nabokov missed his only game due to injury all year. Or playing the Ducks when Giggy-Puff sat for Hiller (who beat us).

yeah. . You lost 5-0? god. that’s right. Geez. It was disappointing cause I put together a nice writeup and then bam. Could tell right away they were not prepared.

They kinda had it coming. They need a lesson. This team is hard to get a feel for cause they’re not as good as their record but not as bad as a lot of Ranger fans would have you believe.

I like the fact they don’t quit. But there’s something missing.
