Video of Day: Sidney Crosby

I do this with my Hitting Back site usually highlighting favorite music videos. Obviously, that doesn’t apply here but maybe it’s time for a new Video category dedicated to the coolest puck highlights.

Why not? We can mix ‘em in along with our local coverage. Whether it be a highlight reel goal, big save, great pass, awesome check or entertaining scrap, I figured I’d get it started with Sidney Crosby’s no look backhand goal top shelf on Henrik Lundqvist putting the exclamation point on the Pens’ 6-2 home win over the Rangers.

As much as I dislike him, he put on quite a performance in that third tallying all four points in a dominant third after taking his lumps. Give credit where it’s due. Here it is:

 

Could’ve done without the Kanye West “Flashing Lights” playing in the background as I prefer the play by play and that would’ve been a fun call from Hall of Fame Pens ‘caster Mike Lange, who always has great descriptions.

Since I did mention it, why not checkout his Top 10? I’ve seen it before and it’s quite entertaining. We’ll just make this a Penguins double bonus since they kicked the Rangers’ ass:
