Special Announcement

February 5, 2009   ·     ·   Jump to comments

In case you might’ve noticed, our Battle Site has changed quite a bit. We have a brand new very cool design keeping the original Battle logo intact. I definitely like the darker look and would like to thank NYSD buddy Joe McDonald for helping out in that department.

It has been a true pleasure to be able to blog about the sport of hockey updating our local fans with as much news as possible. I do want to improve whatever we can and find an Islander blogger. I apologize for not updating more on the current state of the team as I’ve been quite busy lately.

If anyone’s interested in taking the team from Long Island, we’d love to have you. I’ll try to make the effort to update when I can.

I am very happy with the contributions we’ve gotten from everyone including lead Devil blogger Hasan who has been an outstanding addition and is truly a team player. Thank you for making this place so much fun! I really couldn’t do it without ya.

It’s also great to see our Sabre contingent Brian Sanborn getting into the swing of things. Keep up the good work buddy! Thanks to Adam as well for giving a nice update on NBC’s slanted coverage. Your article got special notoriety and was mentioned in Puck Daddy’s blog on Yahoo. Congrats!

We hope to continue making this place as fun as possible. If anyone has any feedback, I’d love to hear from you.

Thanks for the support,

BONY Chief Editor Derek Felix
