This just in from the always reliable Darren Dreger via Twitter: The Oilers have called a 5:45 press conference.
Wonder what it could be about. They have indicated they’re in the Dany Heatley sweepstakes till the bitter end. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
UPDATE: Apparently, this was just a media conference call with Edmonton GM Steve Tambellini discussing the Heatley situation along with newest Oiler netminder Nikolai Khabibulin.
