Six Rules To Being A Ranger

November 10, 2009   ·     ·   Jump to comments

Before we get started, congrats go out to Brian Leetch, Lou Lamoriello, Brett Hull, Luc Robitaille, Steve Yzerman and John Davidson on tonight’s HHOF induction. Well deserved. More on that tomorrow.

Okay. I’m in a rather facetious mood this evening. So, if you can’t have a little understanding plus a sense of humor about the current state of our team, then we strongly advise you don’t read what’s below as it’s heavy criticism sprinkled with cynicism. Now that you’ve been warned, here are our six rules on what it takes to be a New York Ranger.

Six Rules To Being A Ranger

1.Let opponents continually run your franchise goalie without any response.

2.Watch your captain get concussed by blatant cheapshot and whisper to opponents instead of sending message.

3.Coach intimidates own players while talking out his ass, striking fear because their ice-time/role might diminish.

4.Toss away your lone enforcer and hire an older thug as replacement who can’t skate and is always hurt.

5.Play like a bunch of wusses. If you look up wuss in the dictionary, this logo will appear.

6.Don’t recall anyone from Hartford with two of your centers out showing no confidence whatsoever in your system, continuing an annual team tradition.
